Be proactive about wellness and immune health by making vitamin IV therapy a part of your healthy lifestyle.

Vitamin IV therapy was created in 1950 as a method of delivering nutrients directly to the blood stream. Bypassing the digestive system allows for a full rate of absorption.

The solution facilitates delivery of a healthy dose of vitamins and minerals that is too large to ingest orally. Vitamin IV therapy offers a wide range of benefits for overall wellness.

Immune health is improved due to increased circulation that helps to relieve pain associated with fibromyalgia and other autoimmune diseases. You may also find an improvement in your resistance to colds and infections.

The additional vitamins and nutrients give you a boost of energy if you’re feeling fatigued or help you sleep better if you suffer from insomnia.

If you have an illness or other conditions affecting your digestive system, that hinder absorption of nutrients, the IV delivers vitamins and minerals directly to the blood stream so they can be efficiently distributed throughout your body.

Are you a serious athlete who participates in marathons, cycling races or other intense activities? Vitamin IV drips can enhance your performance and keep your immune health up during periods of training. They are also a great way to recover after a strenuous event or competition.

While a “Myers’ Cocktail,” named for the physician who pioneered vitamin IV therapy, contains a well-rounded mix of magnesium, calcium, B vitamins and vitamin C, the dosage can be modified to address your individual areas of need.

Intravenous vitamin therapy represents an exciting new paradigm in integrative and functional medicine, allowing us to both prevent and help treat a wide variety of conditions safely and effectively.

Advantages of Intravenous Vitamin Therapy?

1) Nutrients delivered directly to cells through the bloodstream

With intravenous nutrient therapy, as soon as your infusion starts, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients are quickly circulated through your bloodstream and delivered to cells, where they are immediately available for use. It’s like “direct deposit”; in IV vitamin therapy, there’s no waiting for the nutrients to clear the digestive system and the liver.

2) Fewer side effects

Intravenous vitamin therapy bypasses the stomach and intestines. This means no upset stomach or intestinal problems like cramps, nausea, or diarrhea, which sometimes result from taking high doses of certain vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin C and Magnesium.

3) Allows for high-dose therapy necessary for effective treatment outcomes

Research has shown that there are specific blood or tissue concentrations of certain nutrients that must be achieved in order for them to be pharmacologically active. Vitamin C is a good example of such a nutrient. Numerous studies show high concentrations of Vitamin C are required in the serum and intracellular fluid before it can exert its beneficial effects.

These high concentrations simply cannot be achieved by taking the nutrients orally; the bulk of vitamins and minerals swallowed in pill or liquid form is excreted, with very little actually absorbed into the bloodstream. Underlying improvement of internal absorption due to other conditions, such as: celiac disease may reduce oral absorption even further. Complicating this further is that many patients have conditions that impair their intestinal absorption in the first place. Finally, as noted above, many patients cannot tolerate high doses of certain vitamins and minerals because these upset their stomachs. Therefore, only intravenous vitamin therapy can directly deliver pharmacologically effective doses of the required nutrients.

4) Treatment of specific medical conditions based on clinical evidence and/or study data

How long will my IV nutrient therapy take?

It varies. Depending on your specific treatment, your may have a quick “IV push,” which takes just a few minutes, or a longer-lasting IV drip, which may take 15-90 minutes.

How many treatments of IV vitamin therapy will I need?
